In 1996, Yoram Shiv co-founded the law firm Sharir, Shiv & Co., a highly respected Israeli boutique law firm specializing in High-Tech, Bio-Tech, Venture Capital, Private Equity and corporate finance. Yoram’s practice focuses on venture capital transactions (including in connection with the provision of Debt Financing and Credit Facilities, Restructuring of Portfolio companies, and Exit Transactions), mergers and acquisitions (including acquisitions of private entities by public and private companies, such as acquisitions by foreign publicly traded companies of Israeli entities and acquisitions by Israeli companies of foreign entities), commercial transactions (including technology and intellectual property transactions in connection with licenses, IP transfers, R&D, Joint Ventures, Collaborations, OEMs and VARs, as well as other commercial transactions including sales and purchases, distribution, and reseller transactions) and serves as corporate counsel to clients, including early-stage start-up companies, VC funds, private equity funds and other investors.
Yoram who is a full-time resident of Israel graduated in Law from Tel Aviv University in 1992 and has been a member of the Israel Bar Association since 1993. He was an Assistant Lecturer at the Tel Aviv University and taught Corporate Law between 1991 and 1994 and also a course in “Investments in High-Tech Startups” between 2011 and 2014.
